Refund Policy

Last updated: June 28, 2026

What this policy covers

The Aquatic-Art catalogs, calculators, and reference content are free to use. This policy applies only to the optional paid Pro subscription. There is nothing to pay for — and nothing to refund — when you use the free site.

Who you are buying from

Pro is sold and supplied by Paddle, our merchant of record and authorised reseller. When you buy Pro, your purchase contract is with Paddle, which handles checkout, payment processing, applicable taxes, invoicing, and refunds. Paddle's Buyer Terms and Refund Policy apply to your purchase. Where this page and Paddle's policies differ, Paddle's policies govern the transaction.

Refunds

Because Pro is a digital subscription, payments are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started, except where you have a statutory right to a refund (see below) or where Paddle, as merchant of record, grants a refund on a discretionary basis. Refund requests are assessed case by case and will not be approved where there is evidence of fraud or abuse.

Your statutory rights

Separately, consumer law in your country may give you a statutory right to withdraw from a digital purchase and receive a refund. The length of this period depends on where you live — for example 14 days in the EU, EEA and UK, and 7 days in some other countries. As Paddle's Refund Policy explains, this right can end once you start using a digital product after agreeing at checkout to begin immediate access. Nothing on this page limits any non-waivable consumer rights you have under local law; where local law grants stronger protection, that protection applies.

How to request a refund or cancel

The fastest way is directly through Paddle:

  • use the View receipt or Manage subscription link in your Paddle purchase confirmation email; or
  • visit paddle.net and choose Request refund.

You can also email us via our Contact page with the email address you used at checkout and your order or receipt number, and we will process an eligible refund through Paddle. We aim to respond within a few business days.

After a refund

If a refund is issued, your Pro access ends and the related Pro features are switched off, in line with Paddle's Refund Policy.

Renewals and cancellation

Pro renews automatically each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time using the Paddle links above; cancellation stops future charges and takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep Pro access until then. If a payment is not eligible for a refund, you can still cancel to prevent the next charge, and your statutory rights continue to apply.

Chargebacks

If you do not recognise a charge or have a billing problem, please contact Paddle (or us) first — this is usually the fastest way to resolve it, and faster than a bank chargeback. If a chargeback is raised that is found to be fraud or abuse of payment protection, your Pro access may be suspended while it is investigated and blocked if abuse is confirmed, as set out in Paddle's Buyer Terms.
