By accessing Aquatic-Art, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. We may change these terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Nature of the service
Aquatic-Art provides educational tools and aggregated species data for aquarium planning. Content is provided for reference only and may contain errors or incomplete coverage. Nothing on this site is veterinary, legal, or professional advice.
Livestock and responsibility
You are solely responsible for decisions affecting animals, plants, and equipment. Always verify parameters against multiple reputable sources and local regulations before purchasing or stocking livestock.
Calculators and estimates
Tools (stocking, chemistry, cost, lighting, etc.) produce estimates based on simplified models and the inputs you provide. Results are not guarantees of safety, compatibility, or suitability.
Advertising
Aquatic-Art may display advertising served by Google AdSense and other third-party vendors. Ads are labelled and kept separate from interactive controls; their content is determined by the ad network and does not constitute an endorsement by Aquatic-Art. Order process and billing
The core catalogs and calculators are free. Aquatic-Art may also offer an optional paid Pro subscription. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller and merchant of record, Paddle. Paddle is the merchant of record for all Pro orders: it handles checkout, payment processing, applicable taxes, billing-related customer inquiries, and refunds, and your purchase contract for Pro is with Paddle. Paddle's Buyer Terms apply to your purchase. The price and billing period shown at checkout govern your purchase. Pro renews automatically each period until you cancel; you can cancel at any time and keep access through the end of the paid period. Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund Policy.
Intellectual property
Site design, branding, and original text belong to the project or its licensors. Third-party data may be subject to separate licenses cited on species or source pages.
Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aquatic-Art and its contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site.
Governing law
These Terms and your use of the free site are governed by the laws applicable where the site operator is established, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence, which continue to apply. Your purchase of Pro is separately governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms and the law they specify.
